Our Courses
We are South London's only Locksmith Training course, designed and taught by skilled Locksmiths who have been in the trade since 2000. All course leaders are highly experienced managers and locksmiths who continue to deliver services for the Police, Local councils and recognised Bailiff Organisations. We currently offer a 2/3 day training course for beginners or those looking to retrain in the industry.
3 DAY LOCKSMITH TRAINING COURSE
Our goal is to help you learn a new trade. Our collective experience comes from many years of owning Locksmith shops and being on the road day and night. You will learn the ins and outs of the trade in a practical and visual way.
Our courses offer individuals the attention they need. We achieve this by keeping our groups small, a maximum of 4 trainees per course. To see a rough overview of what is involved each day on our intensive course
POTENTIAL EARNINGS?
There is no set amount that you can earn from Locksmithing. It really depends how busy you are and how willing you are to go out and get the work.
As an example our call out fee is £85 which includes the 1st hour labour but excludes any parts. A simple 'Rim Cylinder' change could earn you £105-110. We are happy to advise on Job pricing when needed.
Area's also make a difference, if you're in Central London for instance your general call-out fee would be higher as you'd have to contend with the Congestion Charge, Ulez, Parking etc.
It's always best to see what other Locksmiths charge in your area and be competitive.
Ways to make money as a Locksmith?
The first thing we advise our trainees to do is probably not the obvious answer of building a website! Yes that is necessary but keep reading.
One thing most people don't do is promote locally, and by locally i mean that your next door neighbour should know that you're a Locksmith!
Google is a big world and a company that has more money than you will literally obliterate their competition by paying more money for google ads and making sure their listings come before yours.
Yes we have avenue's like checkatrade and the common advertising platforms but do what we do! every time you walk in to a shop to buy something, LEAVE A CARD! it really doesn't hurt.

We have seen the changes in the Locksmith Industry and witnessed all the new locks coming out and take it personally when we hear words like Anti pick, Anti Bump, Anti Drill Etc, we always find a way!
Plus we only have very small classes, 4 people max so it's a lot more personal than other courses and you definitely get more attention than you would if there were 15 people in a classroom.
Lastly our course is 100% Practical with no written work at all! We found over the years that a lot of people are great with their hands but not so good with a pen so we have adapted our course over the years and now, when you finish the course we hand you 18 pages of printed notes so you never have to remember what we taught you, it's all written down and handed to you.
