Your Gateway to Success

Below is a brief overview of what to expect from us. The course duration is 10am-4pm, We are based in Franklin Road Ind Est, Penge, SE20 8HW. We are walking distance from either Penge East or Penge West Train station, and there is also plenty of free parking a few seconds walk from our unit.

DAY ONE

Adult Education Course

Cylinders - Wafer Locks - Padlocks

Non destructive and destructive techniques on opening rim cylinders commonly known as Yale locks, Euro cylinders (pvc doors) Wafer locks (found on filing cabinets) Tubular Locks, window locks and all types of Padlocks. You will also disassemble and reassemble the locks so you know exactly how they work. You will be shown how to use standard lock picks as well as electric tools to open locks.

DAY TWO

Young Couple

Mortice Locks

Non destructive techniques on how to open 2,3 & 5 lever locks including British Standard insurance approved models. You will also learn other techniques on gaining entry to locks using bypass tools. This course is 100% hands on. Not only will you be shown, but you will physically pick these locks using various industry standard lock picks, Jiggler keys, 2 in 1 picks etc. You will also disassemble and reassemble.

DAY THREE

Student Writing

Lock fitting, Key cutting and Q&A

You will learn how to fit Mortice locks using specialist tools and fit Rim Cylinders/Nightlatch from scratch. Once fitted you will cut keys for both using our Key Cutting Machines. We will supply everything needed  to use on the day so you don't need to bring any tools at all. We will end the day with a final Q&A session so anything you need to recap can be covered. You will be presented with a certificate at the end of the course.
